Walhalla Historic Gold Mining Town
A trip to Walhalla is a highly recommended drive from Anderley. In just over an hour you will find yourself set back in time. This historic township is one of the most fascinating gold towns in Australia. It's unique location in the mountains created a village with a bizarre history. You could take a walking tour through the town, a Gold Mine Tour and book a ride on the Walhalla Railway (runs on Weekends, Wednesdays and public holidays).

Dog Friendly
For things to do with your dog: There are a number of dog friendly walks in the area such as Toorongo Falls and Uralla Nature Reserve (in Trafalgar). Yarragon also has a great dog park (on and off leash designated areas). You will have access to a large paddock adjacent to your cottage when you stay at Anderley for plenty of off leash runs and ball games - as long as your dog's recall is good!
There are also many outdoor dining areas that are dog friendly in Yarragon and surrounds so you can enjoy local cafe's with your dog.
